The emotions of a Venetian Carnival, photographed by Renzo Bean and processed by HEX0x6C in Processing. The work is a human-computer collaboration: the human immortalizes moments of reality in a series of four photographs stolen during a cold Venetian carnival. The machine observes them, fades them in transparency, superimposes them, and finally delivers them to the human at high speed in a random sequence. The human watches the moving sequence and instinctively stops it in four instants that correspond to as many images: the four takes proposed in this series. Each of us brings at least one mask, often many more, nuanced, overlapping, always impermanent.
