reverie

about the image: r is for reverie. after the snow had finished falling, being able to capture the awe-inspiring scale of this winter wonderland with an aerial perspective was a dream come true. i walked along the edge making some beautiful images from ground level, but the scene from up above was simply epic. about the collection: vetur is a minimal, abstract, aerial series capturing icelandic landscapes in the winter. the abstractness of the textures & lines make for compelling compositions, and are inherently unique images due to either myself (in a helicopter) or a drone i am piloting, being suspended in the air at varying altitudes & positions. this type of photography can provide a sen...View all
