The seeds of the Prometheas form the underpinning of a complex web of high-energy Schmryptozoa. Without them the entire ecosystem you see before you would not be possible, and their evolution is a defining moment in the current epoch. Some species have even adapted to make their homes within germinated seeds, resulting in the first glimmers of eusociality.
