Last Sunsets of Summer

I use a lot of my photoshoots as an excuse to get out of Los Angeles and explore Southern California. I get somewhat claustrophobic in the city, so to drive out to Palm Desert with Sasha here and take photos at golden hour is a real treat. It was a hot day when we arrived, but after changing into wardrobe and makeup we started to get that cool desert evening, miles away from any city or neighborhood. It was so relaxingly quiet on the mountain where we shot this, we were both kind of sad to leave. Sasha is the first girl I shot with after college, though it was before I shot consistently, so this last session we both realized how far we've come on either side of the camera.
