When she was young, all Cat ever wanted to do was run away and join the circus. One day, after a long argument with her mother, she did. At first everything was perfect. Graceful and flexible, she was a lovely addition to the high-wire act. The crowd adored her favorite stunt – “accidentally” falling – because she always landed on her feet, completely unhurt. But as she spent time getting to know the other animals she learned about how horribly mistreated they were. Determined to fix this, Cat began documenting the mistreatment and sharing it with animals’ rights organizations all over the country.
