In December 10, 1999, the Philippine island of Luzon dealt with a massive overnight blackout. Unbeknownst to residents, an estimated 50 truck-loads of jellyfish swam into one of the major powerplants and found themselves trapped in its cooling system. This strange news left an imprint in my mind, and I would never forget about it. I decided to immortalize the tragic journey of the jellyfishes in this animation. Their movement exude innocence, calm, and mindfulness almost celestial--astral in nature.
