Animal Totems // Owl

For centuries people all over the world believed in the power of animals, spirit beings and symbols, that may represent their group, their tribe, their family or even just themselves as a person. This series is my interpretation of a few of these totems. This was initially hand-painted with acrylics. It's been exhibited in cities like Berlin, Munich and Madrid. The canvas has been sold a while ago, there won't be any prints released in the future. Reworked with Photoshop. 2500 x 2500px.
