Sky Burial # 1 is an original oil painting, 40" x 15" (101cm x 38cm). The original oil painting was sold in 2014. This NFT is a digitally modified version and as the original oil painting has already been sold, I'm offering editions for this painting. This is a traditional oil painting project I started in 2008 inspired by ship breaking but on a scale that dwarfs our sea going equivalents. As a film matte painter and concept artist I'm highly influenced by cinema - in this instance - David Leans, Lawrence Of Arabia.
