One of the most abundant instances of digital life seen among the upper reaches of the energy column, the affectionately named Shifter is a tiny survivalist of harsh void conditions. Prolific pollinators capable of subsisting on very little energy for long periods of time, those with an interest in marine biology might be reminded of deep sea isopods that have no problem thriving in some of the most inhospitable conditions our oceans have to offer.
