Little William had an odd habit of collecting his chewed up gum. Bubbalicious was his absolute favorite because of how big the pieces were and how sweet the flavor was. But those Bubbalicious pieces were too just a LITTLE too big for his little jaw, and often hurt. So William went through his gum quickly. In a little under 3 months he had a pile of gum in the corner of his room so large that the top of it touched the ceiling of his bedroom. At the right angle, the pile of gum looked like it had a face. And even teeth. This thought made William laugh. "One day," he said to the gum pile, "I'll have enough gum for you to come to life and be my friend!"
