Octonaut

Octonaut was an experiment I did a few years back and gave me an amazing result. When i was creating my hand cut collages i used to make different combinations of cut outs and try different possible results before gluing everything. What happened in the case of Octonaut was that I took some photos of the process using a warm light as my source. The photos were hauntingly beautiful and kept them even though I did not finish the project. I decided to make a simple animation and did not add any digital elements in the original design because i did not want to spoil the "handmade" feeling of the artwork.
