A Tear In Waiting

Tear drops appear often in this artwork to express the sadness of unequal rights. I started out with a reworking of the face’s skin texture and smoothed it down a bit. Then with a fine, digital pencil I began building upon each line bit by bit to highlight the contours of the subjects’ face; Adapting different textures and tones, as well as adding in a few hidden easter eggs symbols along the way.
