Artist's Description: In my vision the embracement of ones weaknesses can only be turned into art. Andy's obsession with soup stemmed from his childhood memories of love and simple pleasures. My own relationship to food is also of this nature, but as a cook from the age of 12 for my family and then later as a chef, I was able to communicate my love through food. When I look at the fabric of my own art and art influences the presence of Andy Warhol is felt. Whether I realized it or not Warhol has always been the Godfather of my art and viewpoint on the re-contextualization of the meaning of art itself as the greatest communicator of all time.
