Materia Prima 1-Chaos

Cycles. Elements, chaos, creation, destruction. Balance, eternal, energy. Materia Prima (Prima Materia) or Prime Matter resembles these concepts in endless, animated sequences that feed itself in the cycle of life. It's an exploration that touches these universal concepts in a particular point of view. A chemical reaction, DNAs, the energy of life and the silence of the remains. I have been inspired by alchemy, elements and combinations of rare prime matter to develop these unique 4 pieces. The fact of being in lockdown for almost 2 years now triggered old concepts of my work, when being isolated was part of a personal decision at the time to create. -G
