Ducks in the Shade by Stanley T. Crawford In the heat of the hot Texas sun, ducks will search for a shady spot to shield themselves from the hot Texas sun. These ducks have found a cool spot of shade in the shadow of a tree. The tree absorbs the sun’s rays. The sun’s rays nourish the tree; while the tree provides comfort to the ducks.
