String Movement

This piece was born from pushing the boundaries of what is possible between capturing the tactile and textural nature of my analog fiber art and creating a realm where these properties can bloom in digital form. The act of spinning wool fiber into yarn in its simplest form is physics. When you look at yarn, you're observing twist in a frozen physical state. I animated this photo of my handspun yarn to capture this static yet energized phenomenon.
