Treasure Hunters

This painting references photos of my wife and I. One photo was taken 24 years ago, the other, just a few seasons back. We have sailed everywhere together, faced wild turbulent seas, and found treasure of unspeakable beauty in the ocean of each other. There is only one rule for those who will brave the passage, and that is that there is no rule. It takes a cultural outlaw, pirates of the spirit, to replace a love that is expected with a love that can truly be.
