There I was having breakfast at the hotel in Istanbul before departing to my next destination when I peered out the window of the restaurant and saw the sun rising above this mosque in the distance. I was in complete awe of what I was witnessing and literally sprinted down three flights of stairs to my hotel room, grabbed my camera, and ran back up to the rooftop to capture this moment, one I will not soon forget!
