The man walked into the brightly lit room and scanned the scene. A patient was laid out on a gurney unconscious. The nurse looked up as the man approached her.
“Ah surgeon, there you are,” she said in a relieved tone.
“Nurse” the surgeon acknowledged. “What do we have here?”
“Lazblast wounds to the right forearm,” she replied, "his hand is a goner."
