Two Brides, inspired by an article titled "From an outsider: The reality of being lesbian and Muslim" by Deenah al-Aqsa, is a piece depicting two Muslim women in traditional Islamic clothing standing beside each other as partners. The digital artwork is part of the tribes' collection which is an exploration of traditional clothing and regional fashion from around the world. The article detailed the battle Muslim gay and lesbian individuals face as part of the LGBTQ and Muslim communities.
