The mountains of Kluane National Park shocked me when we saw them. They are huge. Kluane is home to Canada's highest mountain, Mt Logan, clocking in at almost 6000m. It's also home to our largest icefield and a large population of grizzly bears. Directly connected to two national parks in Alaska and one provincial park in British Columbia, the area forms one giant and wild UNESCO world heritage site.
When you visit the North, it will leave an impression on you that lasts forever. It is wild and awesome in a way that few places are.
