January 2022 This piece represents one of my best and personal favorite works created so far. It is the perfect example of why patience is so important for landscape photographers. To date I’ve explored this forest on about 40 different visits, getting to know the area intimately while searching for nice compositions and light. It is truly my favorite local place to sit and watch the time go by! I’d only discovered this scene during my last ten visits, making a few attempts at the shot, but it never worked because the right light was missing.
