27- Mo'orea

Nothing about this place seemed real. The lush landscape with jagged peaks, the beautiful clear blue lagoons that surround the island and the old Toyota trucks driving around-- this place had character. It's an island in French Polynesia, so you better believe I ate lots of croissants on this trip. But the real reason I visited was to be able to put my new skills to the test and photograph the humpback whales underwater. An actual dream come true. I never thought my life would bring me here and that I would actually get to do this. I am living my dream life.
