I wanted to take a husky photo for a long time. As a kid, I was fascinated by the people who lived far north. That's how I got introduced to huskies. Even to this day, I find northern cultures very interesting, and that's a big reason why I photograph a lot in Finnish Lapland, and why I will continue to do so. Two to three years ago, when I was scrolling Instagram, I saw a photo of huskies and there was a lot of action involved. I thought that was the coolest shot ever. I kept that shot in my mind.
