Burning Skies

Burning skies illuminate the water in spectacular fashion. Miles from home, this was my first occasion encountering this magical wave. This particular location takes a whole day of driving and a full adventure on the ocean to witness. It bends water in ways I have never seen anywhere else in the world. I spent a full day capturing images. In the final stages of the day I was treated to some of the best light I have ever photographed. Unfortunately, a catastrophic card failure only left a handful of images salvageable. Lessons learnt and memories lost are hard to take, but I can still reminisce these moments that have yet to be repeated. Burning Skies by Anj Semark.
