Seize the Night

Seize the Night Photographing the night sky was an escape for me. I was in a long term relationship that turned toxic and I would escape into the night with my camera gear. Being alone in the darkness liberated me from the pain of knowing my marriage was ending. The darkness allowed me to be in the moment and I could bury the past and ignore the future. As the years passed and I was free of the pain of that time I would still Seize the Night whenever I could. On occasion, the night would reward me with an extraordinary display of aurora.
