Creator’s Block, infuses my physical/digital approach to making artwork; it is a nod to a concrete sculptural painting that I originally made in 2018. The sculpture is shown bursting under pressure to release the pigments which originally created the painting. This act reflects the stress that being stuck in a creative block can cause, especially during a time when everything seems to move a mile a minute. The abstracted pigment which flows from the concrete and pours into its blank canvas acts as both a palette cleanser and new beginning.
