A solar eggclipse occurs when the egg, in its orbit around the Earth, passes between the Sun and the Earth, blocking out the Sun's light and casting a shadow on the Earth's surface. This rare event can only happen during a new egg, when the egg and the Sun are in alignment with the Earth.
