Cool breeze passed by, It inspired my kite to fly. Breezin' is a collection that explores the styles of decorative breeze blocks that are found on the exterior of homes in Barbados. These blocks, though found around the world, have become a part of Barbados' Architectural cultural identity. Where did these symbols originate before they made it on the island? Are they secret resilience ? Are they hidden messages? Is there a connection between breeze blocks and cultural symbols?
