ORIHIMEGAMI

This is Hafumi's first MEGAMI fan art illustration. This is a MEGAMI of Orihime. Japanese "Tanabata" was originally a Chinese event of the Tanabata Festival, which was introduced in the Nara period (710-794) and combined with the original Japanese legend of Tanabatatsume. Orihime and Hikoboshi are characters in the Tanabata legend. Separated by the Milky Way, they are allowed to meet only on July 7. In honor of this, Tanabata events are held all over the country on July 7th. I have included many Tanabata-related items in this painting.
