Heavy Comfort

Part of a series created from my own fine-tune model of an original piece I did that was inspired by the author Susain Cain and her work investigating the nature of bittersweet. I see the fear of vulnerability and the pain that comes with comfort. I see the strength it takes to hold a loved one quietly and the peace that settles after giving over to what is. I see the beautiful heartache in a moment of shared grief. But that's just what I see.
