On The Watch

With the lions roaming around, buffaloes are always on the watch. You might not expect predators to hunt them since these tanks of the bush can weigh up to 900 kg (1984 lbs), and with their strong horns they can cause critical injuries. But yet lions enjoy a good steak and are willing to take the risk. So when there is a herd of buffalo, always check for lions around, since they are often stalking them. Nonetheless these majestic beasts are wonderful to capture (on camera), since these kind of herd shots are a stunning sight to behold.
