Wake up. The Unstable Diffusion collection attempts to capture the spontaneous and painful mental dissonance caused by anxiety and inbred weirdness. The art combines a trained probabilistic diffusion model (a set of parametrised Markov chains) and various genart post-processing techniques. Inspired by the late Francisco Goya's Black Paintings series that he created in seclusion, unwell, deaf and isolated from the public.
