Endless waves crash upon the shore of a black sand beach. It was my second to last day in Iceland out of a two week whirlwind of a trip, having weathered Winter storm after Winter storm. Two weeks was simply not enough time to explore this beautiful country but that's typical of places like this; a lifetime would hardly be enough.
