Transmission

Transmission was initially composed using generative code in P5js (as opposed to my usual method of using Photoshop to compose the outline). The image was then painted using the Gouache brushes in Corel Painter. I like the way these paints change in colour slightly as they dry (even the digitally simulated ones) - it creates a more organic feel for me. The image originally had 900 squares but I recomposed it in Corel Painter to remove 12 squares, giving it a total of 888 squares. Additional tweaks (mainly the signature placement) were made in Photoshop.
