Documenting this years superbloom down in California was an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. Driving down from Washington, It was quite a challenge to time the bloom right, while also having a good weather window. After keeping an eye on the weather and checking reports on conditions, we made the 12 hour trek down to the Golden State in early April. The first leg of our trip in northern California didn't go exactly as planned, as we were greeted with a huge shift in the weather.
