Shojo

Shojo or "Heavy drinker" 猩々 This creature is typically found along the coast. They look like large apes, with long, shaggy red hair. Their hairless faces usually appear blushed as if drunk. Shōjō are often seen wearing clothes made of seaweed. Shōjō typically spend their lives drinking large amounts of alcohol and lounging on the beach. They revel in being drunk and stupid. They enjoy singing, dancing, and playing. Despite their apparent foolishness, they are rumored to be very wise. They are also apparently excellent brewers of alcohol and are said to be able to distil a powerful brine wine from seawater.
