Orion Rising

This bidders edition went with The Jewels of Orion on Foundation. This image shows the majestic constellation of Orion rising behind the equally beautiful coastal castle at Dunstanburgh in Northumberland, UK. The foreground was captured at around 1:30am and was lit, along with the clouds by a setting 3/4 moon The sky images were taken from a slightly different location at 3:30am the same day, from the location of the foreground Orion would rise to left of the castle so this isn’t 100% accurate in terms of what could be seen from that exact spot but it artistically makes for a better image.
