10 of Spades, "Tales of Before"

The 10 of Spades, "The Land of Before," is the piece that began this journey. Taking inspiration and using reference from Andrey Surnov's "Vertical portal," I sought to depict what I call the "Land of Before." The Land of Before is the before state, the purgatory our spirits exist in before agreeing to the human experience. This state of existence is a varied experience for everyone. This is how I see mine.
