After All This Time

For this piece I created, I wanted to reflect the struggles of internal identity. From my own personal experience, I remember when I first lost my virginity to my boyfriend. When I told my mom, I was in full tears as I feared god would hate me and that she would be upset. She actually laughed and told me to not think about silly things like that. From this day, I still think back to that moment and it makes me feel naked. What I mean by that is I feel I don't have to hold back wanting to be confident, exploring how I feel for someone I love.
