Chalklines #5

Truckload Same highway as in #3 but a lot earlier. You can see there's no barriers in the middle yet. Truck went out of control and lost it really fast. The police officer seems to be posing or maybe he's a stand in for a possible pedestrian on the road that caused the accident (yes people would still just cross the highway back then). Chalk was used to visualize the trajectory of the vehicles involved. In these photographs it often creates a focus point where otherwise there would be none. Sometimes the chalk almost seems burnt into the image. Pure white in sharp contrast to the brutality of a car crash.
