Another misty morning.
If this were the UK, NZ, AUS or any other country where you’re supposed to drive on the left, these skid marks would make more sense.
What happened here was someone got disoriented by the mist, got in the wrong lane, caught eye of oncoming traffic, panicked and ended up in the ditch.
The car in the picture was my grandfathers car at that time, a Ford Taunus, so not the car that had the accident.
Chalk was used to visualize the trajectory of the vehicles involved.
In these photographs it often creates a focus point where otherwise there would be none.
Sometimes the chalk almost seems burnt into the image.
