Winter's icy grasp nipped at any piece of exposed skin we had. It was a chilling day in the mountains. The temperatures had dropped to over -30°C and -45°C with the windchill. However, we hadn't seen the sun in a few weeks and it was time to get out for an adventure. Most of my winters are spent in the mountains. Hiking up them with skis on my feet to push myself and to find great descents. This day was unusually cold, but extremely beautiful.
