Split Nose, one of the Maasai Mara's famous leopards, leaps from his resting spot, a lone Acacia tree, where he had camped throughout the day. We had spent all morning with him then returned later on to try and capture him setting off late in the afternoon in search of his next meal. It was the first time I had ever captured a leopard leaping off a tree, a moment I had always wanted to document. You could feel the power and agility in the jump, bringing everyone in the vehicle to complete silence and awe at how majestic he was!
