.rumahGadang (2022) is a series of photographs and digital effects of abandoned heritage buildings taken from my hometown village which is located in Batang Buo, Indonesia. A symbol of unity, space and gathering among families of Minangkabau ethnic. The house has the primary purpose of the utility of space as a communal centre and gathering for the community. This interpretation is looking in both directions exploring symbols as an identity and function within physical and digital space.
