Te Ōmutu o Pipiri

Matariki (Pleiades), Kōpū (Venus), Takero (Mercury) and ŌMUTU (moon phase) all rising in the east before dawn. In my culture we use the sun, moon and stars to tell what day of the year it is. The sun tells us the season, the pre dawn rising of stars tells us the month and the moon tells us the day.
