7th x Hill by Elliott Grogan Downtown Los Angeles, 2016 Edition: 25/25 This is the second photo in this series of editions showcasing the images that made me want to pursue photography as a fine art. It captures the intersection of 7th and Hill early on a Sunday morning. The sun cuts through the buildings creating a dramatic contrast between the darkened foreground and the illuminated vanishing point on the horizon. As I continue to grow as a photographer, this photo remains as my primary example of how to capture the peace of an early morning in the city.
