Tawong Lipod

Catanduanes, an island in the Bicol region of the Philippines, has the nickname "The Land of the Howling Winds". It inspired me to make this art piece, Tawong Lipod, a mythological race of youthful and graceful wind spirits from Bicolano folklore that serve the lunar gods and love to dance.
