They have an overdeveloped ego and sense of entitlement which enables them to destroy their planet and fellow beings in the pursuit of objects they deem to be of value and further feed their ego. Such value is placed on certain objects that sectors of the population dedicate their entire lives to the pursuit of these objects until their bodies inevitably decay and expire.
