Trippin Out #13

This is the oldest song on our upcoming album "why can’t we just pretend?" We wrote it exactly three years ago during one of the sessions for our "was it not" EP. We started writing it in a way we never had before - in the room, no beat. Sam sang a melody as Jeremy snapped his fingers softly. And then we just had fun. "Trippin out" felt too weird for the EP. Its hard to justify a strange intense record without a catchy chorus on a five song project in the streaming era. Through the years our most experimental songs have often seen the fewest streams.
